Girls wear a leotard at all times. Long hair should be worn up, neat, and secured away from the face. For the safety of all our dancers, no jewelry should be worn in class.
Ballet & Pointe: Solid colored leotard with pink footed tights. Ballet skirt optional. No footless or Capri tights or leggings.
Lyrical: Solid colored leotard with footless tights, Capri tights, or leggings. Ballet skirt optional.
Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, & Cheer: Leotard or biketard plus one of the following: tights, shorts, leggings, or Capri pants. All pants should be form-fitting (not baggy). No long, baggy gym shorts, cut-off sweats, or pajama pants.
Hip Hop: Same as above however Capri pants can be a loose-fitting style.
Other: Ballet skirts and legwarmers are optional. T-shirts and tank tops can be worn during cheer class, but in all other classes, shirts can only be worn during warm-ups. Dancers should always wear a cover-up when going to and from the studio.
Boys wear shorts or black jazz pants and a fitted shirt. No loose fitting cargo pants or jeans.
All dance attire must meet teacher approval.
Shoes: Shoe requirements are listed under each dance form on the website. This will also be included with your dance schedule. All dancers are required to have correct shoes for class. Shoes should be clean and never worn outside. Street shoes are not permitted on the dance floors.
Dancers should not wear their shoes prior to their first class in case there is a class change. Stores will not exchange worn shoes.
