About Us
For the past three decades the Class Act Dance Studio has taught thousands of children and adults to dance. With facilities in both Clyde and Norwalk, Ohio our goal is to provide an affordable and quality dance and acrobatic program for all ages. Whether you are brand new to dance or an experienced dancer, we feel we have a program that will accommodate your needs.
We offer classes to preschoolers as young as three years to adults of all ages. Most classes meet once a week, September through May/mid-June. Our dance season ends with a spring recital at both locations with dancers showcasing what they’ve learned throughout the year.
We also offer a more comprehensive program where students compete at regional and national competitions and perform for area businesses and organizations. Selection for the competition program is made through teacher evaluations and auditions. A nonprofit parent organization, D.A.N.C.E., raises funds to help sponsor these dancers.
Our Teaching Staff includes instructors with:
- Over 30 years experience
- University trained instructors with Bachelor’s Degrees in Dance
- Classical ballet training from Eastern Europe
- Numerous dance awards and performance experience
Our Studios contain:
- Floating hardwood or “Timestep” floors to reduce fatigue and injury
- Permanently installed ballet barres
- Full-length mirrors
